a cozy, historic stay!

I found the room to be a themed, quirky space above the pub, so very individual. the en suite double room was compact and cozy. It had all i needed for a pleasant few nights. i slept soundly and appreciated its central location near all the attractions in the city.
i noticed some noise from the main road during the early hours, but it wasn't terribly disruptive.

The pub downstairs created a lively atmosphere and offered convenient access to drinks and meals. i liked the pub's atmosphere downstairs. It certainly added to the charm of the stay. it felt lovely!!!

The room included an iron and an ironing board in the wardrobe, a practical touch for travelers. the room felt clean. I was sure the window was double glazed. it was indeed ideal for my needs.

unique decorfriendly staff
staff showed GREat friendliness upon arrival. they gave me additional milk for tea. the room's decor was unique it had loads of character.
the bathroom lighting was dim making makeup application difficult. there was one small lamp.

the room was rather dark and small. it felt a bit cramped, to be honest. the bathroom lighting was especially dim. also, i found hairs in the shower, suggesting it wasn't properly cleaned after the last guest.
